By accessing or using Das Fart ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service. These terms apply to all users, including visitors, registered users, and trip members.

2. Description of Service

Das Fart is a social entertainment application that allows friend groups to track, rate, and gamify flatulence events during trips or gatherings. The Service includes features such as:

• Creating and joining trips ("Gäng")
• Confessing or reporting fart events ("Prut")
• Voting on suspected culprits
• Rating smell intensity
• Leaderboards and point tracking
• Push notifications for trip activity

3. User Accounts

To use Das Fart, you must:

• Be at least 13 years of age
• Create an account using a valid authentication method (Google, Microsoft, or email)
• Choose a unique alias for identification within the app
• Provide accurate and complete information
• Keep your account credentials secure

You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree NOT to:

• Use the Service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
• Harass, bully, or intimidate other users
• Create false accusations or vote maliciously against other users
• Attempt to manipulate leaderboards or points unfairly
• Share trip invite codes publicly without members' consent
• Impersonate other users or create fake accounts
• Attempt to access other users' accounts or data
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service
• Use automated systems or bots to interact with the Service

5. User Content

You retain ownership of content you create (trip names, descriptions, aliases). By using the Service, you grant us a license to store, display, and transmit this content as necessary to provide the Service. You are responsible for ensuring your content does not violate any laws or third-party rights.

7. Trip Participation

When participating in trips:

• Only join trips when invited by people you know
• Respect other members and participate in good faith
• Understand that your alias and activity will be visible to all trip members
• You may leave a trip at any time
• Trip creators may remove members at their discretion

8. Points and Leaderboards

Points earned in Das Fart are for entertainment purposes only and have no monetary value. Leaderboard positions are calculated based on the point system described in the app. We reserve the right to adjust points or rankings if we detect abuse or manipulation.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT GUARANTEE THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, SECURE, OR ERROR-FREE. USE THE SERVICE AT YOUR OWN RISK.

10. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. THIS INCLUDES ANY DAMAGES ARISING FROM DISPUTES BETWEEN USERS OR EMBARRASSMENT CAUSED BY APP USAGE.

11. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account at any time for violations of these terms or for any other reason at our discretion. You may also delete your account at any time through the app settings. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease.

12. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. We will notify users of significant changes by updating the "Last updated" date and, where appropriate, through in-app notifications. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
